Dogs Connect is excited to be partnering with Bendigo Community Health Services to improve mental health in schools across the City of Greater Bendigo.
The new joint partnership is supported by the Victorian Department of Health’s Integrated Health Promotion across the City of Greater Bendigo. Now in its second year, its main aim is for people living in the City of Greater Bendigo to experience the best mental health and wellbeing possible.
With the additional support from School Focused Youth Services, Kangaroo Flat Primary School, Lightning Reef Primary School and Bendigo South East College will be introducing a Dogs Connect dog as a permanent member of their learning community during term one and two, 2019.
