Project Description

The Martyn Program engaged the Dogs Connect Incursion Program for year seven students in 2018. The focus was Social and Emotional Learning. Data collected shows significant learning around having strategies to call on for regulating emotions. Our evidence shows growth in awareness of how our reactivity can be impacted on through empathising with others and understanding our own body language. It’s great to see and hear students reflecting on the impacts and how they can utilise their new learning into many areas of life, not just school.
